This is a picture of a statue in my grandmother's garden. to edit this picture I added the antique effect and faded the color, and adjust the saturation and contrast.

This picture is taken in my kitchen with two old bottles that i lined up in front of the window looking out at the trees. I like how the bottles are two different colors and how u can see the trees blurred in the background.

Red Sea

This picture was taken in Chicago off of a boat, I leveled the picture and desaturated it. I then added another layer and filled in a reddish orangish color to the water but kept everything else saturated. it turned out great!

Iced Out

I took this picture on Snow Day; my mom and sister were walking through a tunnel on our neighborhood walking trail. I took out the color, filtered with plaster as well as layering with another filter of colored pencil. I also erased parts of each image so that the underlayment would bleed through. I really like this picture overall; It has a rather unique icy tone to it!

I took this photo for the still life assignment. It was taken at the Birmingham Museum of Art. As I was looking around, I noticed the writing on the side of the bench and I thought it would be an interesting perspective to take a picture through the side of bench.

I took this picture in New Orleans, and I didn't really edit it. I liked how each window had different colors in it. I also liked the texture and colors of the bricks.

Plastic Wrap Puzzle

I took a close up of puzzle pieces then manipulated it using the plastic wrap filter. I like how it ended up.

Trace Crossings Panorama

I took this panorama for the architecture assignment. Because the school is so long, I stood really close to the school and took about 5 across and 4 down. I like how the angle of the picture makes the school look like its curved. I really don't like the flag pole in the middle of the picture.

Teacup Flowers

I took this picture as a part of the still life assignment. I liked the shadow it made on the sheet. Turning it into black and white emphasized the shadow. I adjusted the levels slightly so the image would be a bit more profound. I wish there were not wrinkles in the sheet though. It is distracting, but I still like the picture.

Puzzle

This picture of the puzzle was taken at my grandparents' house. It is a tradition in our family to put puzzles together. The side light in this picture is the lamp that we use to put the puzzle together with, so it was very convenient for this picture. In editing I adjusted the levels and the colors.

Ancient Blue

This is a picture of a Mexican marble chess piece that we got on a cruise. The lighting was the most difficult part for me. I used a white LED as a side lighting source and put a paper towel in front of it t dull the lighting and it gave it a really cool feel. There was a subtle light coming from the fire but the LED's light dominated the glow.

Blue Skies

I took this picture on a day where the sky looked really cool. You could see the rays of light coming through the clouds. I then took pictures of my drawings and cropped them and put them in the photo. I like it because i got to decide what was going on.

This is a composite I did and it is a combo of a leaf that was on the ground outside, my aunt's plant in her house and a candle that was burning. I added different that filters to each layer and made sure each layer worked good together.

This is a picture of a dove in hands as you can see. I took it in black and white close up. I gave that to my grandmother last year for her birthday because she love things like that.

This is a picture I took for the still life assignment, I was looking around my room trying to find things that go together for a picture and I found a copy of Goblet of Fire and some fake glasses laying around. So I decided to take a picture of them together, I really do like this picture though. I guess its because i'm such a big nerd but i think its really funny :)

Bird Wires

This is a composite I did. I really like the light colors in this. I composited the bird house with the wires, and then a picture of leaves.I just really like the simplicity of it and its kind of like a graphic poster.

Backyard Pole

This picture is taken in my backyard of a telephone pole. I really like this picture because of all the stuff going on in it. The weed being in front of the telephone pole makes it mored focused on which i like. I darkened the exposure and messed with the hue and saturation to make the overall picture darker but the sky lighter.
