This picture was taken on halloween night at my friend Will's house. The picture is of my other friend Graham who was dressed up as Jason. I changed the coloring and brightened it up a little bit. Overall i thought the picture was pretty good considering it was pitch-black when i took it.

I took this picture of my little cousin Emma at Treetop, it`s a place on the way to Chelsea that is an arcade and play place for little kids. I was babysitting over the break and I brought them there. I took it on December 17, 2011. Emma is almost 2 years old. She was in the little kid area with other kids her age.

This is a formal of my baby cousin. I took this picture at my aunt's house when we went for dinner. I edited it by copping it and making it black and white. This picture would have been better if it was a little sharper, but my cousin was moving a lot so it was difficult to focus.

I took this picture right before Christmas break. I love how the lights on the tree are blurred out a little. I changed the highlights and contrast of this picture.

I took this picture for the "Pick a Color" assignment. I chose orange because it felt very warm to me. I added contrast, evened out the darkness, and added a little more light around the flames in Photoshop.

This is a picture of my friend, Angel holding my hamster Batman. We took it in my room over the christmas break. To edit this image I boosted the color and cropped the edges.

This is a picture of the nice coexist bumper sticker on the back of my brother's car that I took bcd in October. I boosted the contrast and saturation and lowered the glare on the bumper of the car.

I took this picture at the trails in Ross Bridge along time ago. I really like this picture because of its colors. Its neutral and natural yet its so pretty. I edited this picture by playing around with the adjustment layers.

Cooper Island

I like this picture a lot. I edited by lowering the contrast on the picture. I took this picture while i was on an island called Cooper Island in the British Virgin Island. I took it a week ago. I like this picture because i love how the sun is shining through the palm tree. I think that the sun shining through anything is really pretty.

I took this picture over the break of a Christmas tile my mom puts up in our kitchen. I used a Nikon SLR to take it, and a tripod to keep the camera from shaking. I really like the reflection of the tile on the kitchen counter, so to enhance that, I just adjusted the curves and contrast in photoshop.

I took this picture with my Nikon D3100, I used a tripod and a zoom lens to zoom in on victoria. I took this photo the day before we got back from winter break down in Birmingham. I like this photo a lot because of the editing. I actually used one photo o her and layered it on top of a different one of the same background. I then used a dirt brush I downloaded and took away some of the new layer, i then edited the contrast of the background layer. I changed the color curves and also added an S-Curve. I love these photos I took, i had such a good time!

This is a picture of a dog chillin in Seaside. I took it over Christmas break. I like how focused his eyes are, but I wish his whole face and nose were more in focus. I also wish there wasn't so much going on in the background. Other than that, I think it's a pretty good picture. Yay. : D

I took this picture of a tree in my back yard from the roof of my porch. I edited it by darkening the image first and the using the selection tool, I selected about 12 areas and then adjusted the color balance and the hue/saturation.

Reflection of Newspaper Cartoon Style

I took this picture about a month ago. I was just hanging out in my room and I was reading a Vanity Fair article and I happened to have a tiny compact mirror beside the magazine and noticed the little reflection and remembered my Reflections project and took a picture of it. I used the Film Grain option under Artistic in Filter to edit. I love it because it looks like a cartoon strip in a way. I wish i had a bigger mirror to see the reflection but I love this picture.

Fall Leaf

I took this picture during october outside of my house. I loved the beautiful leaves and how they contrasted with the bright blue sky. I also liked the shadows that the leaves created, and chose to hold one of the leaves to emphasize that. I edited this picture by changing the midtones, contrast, and made only the leaves brighter by using the lasso tool to outline just certain parts.

I called this photo "Faith's Reflection". I edited this photo by cropping it, changing the exposure and contrast, I also used the selective color tool. I really like the darkness and coloring of this photo.

Light of an Angel

This photo was taken at my house. My grandmother keeps a lot of angels around the house so I decide to use some for my slideshow and that is were this photo came from. It was really dark so I enhanced the lighting. The background was mainly Dark but it had a weird ugly looking texture to it so i colored those spots in black.

Cat at the Barn

This is a picture of a cat at my horse barn. I took this near Thanksgiving break. I like how the yellow looks in the cat's eyes and how the background is kind of yellow too. i also like the detail you can see in the cats eyes and the orange speck at the bottom of her eye.

I took this picture in my bathroom for the reflections project. I edited this picture by increasing the definition and the sharpness to make the photo crisp. I like this photo because the reflection looks 3D and awesome.
